“ If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.”

Sweet Dreams Canvas

This painting was done for the Brilliant Strokes silent auction, in Fayetteville, AR., to benefit United Cerebral Palsy children’s program Conductive Education of Northwest Arkansas. The program assists children with cerebral palsy in finding greater independence.

Arkansas Razorback Canvas

I have been very busy painting lately, which I am very thankful for. This was one of my favorite things to do. I can't believe that in all this time of being a Razorback fan, I have never done a Razorback canvas before.

Lydia's Canvas

This is the canvas I painted for my friend Lydia. She is going to have a sweet baby girl in October and wanted something to go with her cut bedding. Here is a picture of her bedding. I love the black and white with the pale pink. It's precious and I'm sure Marion will be too. : ) I can't wait to meet that sweet girl.

Wall Letters

My friend Casey is going to have another little girl and I was so excited to make her something. I made some wall letters that are going to hang on some neat nobs and painted her a very simple canvas to go with her bedding. The room looks so wonderful Casey is all prepared, now Sarah Allain just has to arrive. : )

Maggie's Monogram

One of my friends just had her fourth kiddo. They have her crib in an open section in their closet for the time being, so that she can be close to them. Her husband said they needed "something girly" to decorate it, so that it would look more like her room. I made her a little plaque and put her birth information at the bottom. You can't get much girlier than zebra and hot pink. ha! We're so glad you are here Maggie!

Growth Charts

I just finished painting a growth chart for my friend Betsy, as well as one for Kennedy's room. I was so excited to get the sander out and get started (I know I'm weird..ha!). Betsy was so excited. Her little girl's name is Laney. She calls her "Laney Bug," so I planned on writing, "Laney bug, Laney bug, fly away home..." on the growth chart. I looked up the rest of the saying and we decided against that. ha! Here it is...

Ladybug! Ladybug!
Fly away home.
Your house is on fire.
And your children all gone.

All except one,
And that's little Ann,
For she crept under
The frying pan.

I think you'll agree that we made the right decision. ha!

Cowgirl Boot Canvas

The Easley family asked me to do a painting for their Riding Club's Silent Auction. I had their son in my Kindergarten class during my first year at PCCA.
I have never done a cowboy boot before, but I was happy with how it turned out. I apologize that the picture is a tad blurry.

Ballet Canvas

I got to make a canvas for my sweet Kayden this past week. Her mother asked me to make a special canvas for her before her recital. Kayden and her family are very precious to me and I loved being able to do something for her. I got to be there when her mother gave it to her and she was so excited. She ran to hug her momma and just kept saying, "Thank you momma! I love it! Thank you!" It's so refreshing to see a young person who is truly thankful and tender-hearted. Thank you for letting me be there Amy. I love you all so much!

Cross Painting

My good friend Laura has been trying to raise some money for a mission trip to Honduras and her church was holding a silent auction in order to get closer to their goal. She asked me to paint something and had a vision of what she wanted. Here is a picture of how it turned out. I was more than happy to help her out. : )

Congratulations Abby

I have been friends with Abby since we were in Kindergarten. She is engaged and will be married this summer. I wanted to send her a little something to say congratulations and thought I would send her a verse that means a lot to Dasun and I. If you can remember to do these things, your marriage will be much more successful. Congratulations Abby...I love you!

Painted Cork Boards

I recently added cork boards to my website and my wonderfully supportive friend Kristi was my first order. What a gal! : ) You couldn't find a teacher with more spunk. I wish I could be in her class for just one day. I'm sur eit would be a treat.
